About Galaxy SOHO

SOHO China's Galaxy SOHO is located at No 2, Nanzhugan Alley, Dongcheng District, Beijing, The Inner of Chaoyangmen, Beijing. It can be said that it is the most characteristic building in the inner city of Beijing, reflecting the embracement of hundred rivers of Beijing. Galaxy SOHO has brought modern architectural style to old Beijing and is the symbol of new Beijing. As a landmark building, Galaxy SOHO brings a splendid life to all citizens who work and consume here.

Galaxy SOHO covers an area of more than 50,000 square meters, with a total building area of more than 330,000 square meters. It is a large-scale comprehensive project integrating commerce and office. It includes 166,000 square meters of office buildings and 86,000 square meters of commercial areas. The new work and leisure space make the connection between the project and the surrounding hub more perfect.

Galaxy SOHO uses many advanced technologies of green building, such as high-performance curtain wall system, sunlight collection, 100% underground parking, sewage recycling, efficient heating and air conditioning system, CFC-free refrigeration mode and high-quality building automation system.

Zaha Hadid Architects, who won the Pritzker Architecture Prize, was commissioned the design of Galaxy SOHO by SOHO China. The project unfolds in all directions at different levels from bottom to top, it is a 360-degree architecture world, with no corners and no uneven transition.

The project is divided into four tower-shaped bodies. Observing it on the Second Ring Road, people can experience its "grand and magnificent" momentum. The dynamic interconnection of Four Towers makes many bridges and attractive associative appearance come true. Galaxy SOHO enables people to experience an exciting feeling immersed in the 360-degree architectural world.

Inspired by nature, the exterior of the building shows a continuous flow of deep space. Hundreds of meters of landscape form a far-reaching, full-angle vision. Visitors can look up, or look forward, and find the next goal and direction through a space of 100 meters. The key strategy here is spatial mobility and orientation. When approaching the building, visitors can observe the game of light and shadow, the conversion of open space and closed space. The design, construction and use of the project follow the LEED C&S standard of the United States for Leading Energy and Environment Design Building Rating System, it is an energy-saving and environmental protection project.
